Use case:

A factory reset on a diagnostic imaging monitor is recommended when an unexpected issue is noticed on the monitor and all other potential hardware or software root causes have been ruled out during investigations such as QAWeb Software, video or power cables, MXRT Display Controller, or Drivers, backlight panel, etc...)

Factory Reset:

Note: The layout of the OSD might look different depending on the diagnostic imaging display model.

Information: If QAWeb Enterprise is installed on the workstation, it locks per default the access to the OSD Menu. To unlock the OSD Menu, please follow the guidelines mentioned in the following KB Article: https://www.barco.com/fr/support/knowledge-base/2050-how-to-unlock-the-osd-menu-in-qaweb-enterprise

Factory Reset Procedure

1. Open the OSD Menu according to the instructions of the user manual of your display model, which can be downloaded on the Barco Website https://www.barco.com/en/support (In this example, the OSD Menu can be accessed by pressing in the lower right corner, the soft buttons)

2. Select the service mode option

The display will reset all current settings to its factory settings. Note that the image will disappear for a couple of seconds from the monitor and will return.

Note: We suggest performing a new display calibration using the QAWeb Enterprise software (or Medical QAWeb Agent if still installed on this workstation).
