Configuring ClickShare Conference peripherals in Webex for best content sharing experience

For best content sharing experience, we advise to use the "ClickShare Room Camera/Speakerphone" in your Webex Audio and Video settings.

You can configure this when you're starting or joining a new Webex conference meeting (Method 1) or while you already are in a Webex conference meeting (Method 2).

Make sure that you are connected to the ClickShare device using either a ClickShare Button or the ClickShare Desktop App.

Method 1: you're starting or joining a new Webex conference meeting

  1. Start your Webex conference meeting.
  2. Explore the More options menu using the button with 3 dots, then select Speaker, microphone and camera to open the peripheral selection window.
       

  3. Select Video Settings from the pop-up menu.
       

  4. Select Audio in the left-hand menu and select the speakers and microphone peripherals to be used. In this case Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Room Speakerphone).
     
      
  5. Change the volume and use the Test buttons to check if all is ok. When you test the speaker, a sound fragment will be played out of the selected speaker device. When you test the microphone, your voice will be recorded and subsequently played back.
  6. Select Video in the left-hand menu. Choose Room Camera and select the wanted settings for the camera.
      

Method 2: you already are in a Webex conference meeting

  1. Start or join your Webex conference meeting.
  2. Select the arrow down next to the audio unmute label in the button at the bottom of the dialog. The audio peripheral selection and configuration dialog pop-up.
    Select the Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Room Speakerphone) as speaker and microphone peripheral.
      

  3. Select the arrow down next to the Stop video label in the button at the bottom of the dialog, then select Room Camera as the camera to be used.
