Quick Start Guide Access

To access this fan replacement procedure, please scan the QR code on the kit boxes.

 

  1. Remove the MNA Cover

    With one hand, hold the MNA cover with both specialized grippers.

  2. With your other hand, hold the MNA firmly.

     

    Apply pressure on the grippers, remove and lift the cover.

     

    Place the cover on the side.

     

     

  3. Add the foam

    Turn the cover over.

    If the foam is already present, you don't need to do anything. If not, add the foam following the procedure bellow.

Place the foam positioning tool inside the MNA cover. To do so, make sure that the markings on the tool are visible, and that the positioning tool is seated against the cover border.

 

Remove the foam adhesive.

Apply and stick the foam following the position indicated by the tool.

Remove the foam positioning tool.

 

  1. Remove the old fan

     

     CAUTION: Do not touch the electronic board during the procedure, otherwise it may break.

 

Remove the old fan connector.

 

Unfix the old fan wires.

 

Remove the old fan.

 

 

  1. Put the new fan

    Take the new fan and put it on the device.

     

     

     

     CAUTION: Do not put stress on the center of the fan while placing it, otherwise it may break.

 

Position the new fan wires correctly (in the notch).

 

Connect the new fan connector to the PCB board. The connector electrical contacts must be positioned on the correct side so that they make contact with the receivers.

 

 

  1. Replace the MNA cover

    Take the device in one hand, and with the other hand, take the cover with the specialized grippers and replace it applying slight pressure.

     

     

     When replacing the cover, make sure that the Barco logo is on the side of the video connectors.

 

With both hands, squeeze the cover firmly, and check that it is secure all over.

 

  1. Test the new fan

Power the unit and check that the fan is correctly working.
