Issue:
On some devices running or updated to Windows 11 in combination with Intel Smart Sound technology for USB audio, the Room Camera and Room Speakerphone (echo-cancelling speakerphone) are not detected. They also do not appear in the Windows Device Manager.
This has been detected with Smart Sound driver version 10.29.0.9947 (Oct 2023) after a recent Windows 11 update.
Solution:
Disable the “Intel Smart Sound Technology for USB Audio” driver in the “Sound, video and game controllers” section of the Device Manager.
