Where innovation meets mission-critical: Barco Control Room's ISE and DistribuTECH 2026 takeover
4 min read
Barco Control Rooms is bringing mission-critical innovation to ISE and DistribuTECH 2026. As the global leader in control room solutions, we're showcasing our latest visualization technology across multiple booths throughout the show floors – with an exclusive product launch at ISE that you won't want to miss. Our teams look forward to seeing you at ISE (3-6 February at Fira de Barcelona) or DistribuTECH (3-5 February at San Diego Convention Center)!
San Diego will be buzzing with activity as DistribuTECH kicks off, uniting the Transmission and Distribution community and highlighting the latest innovations transforming the Energy and Utilities landscape. Barco will be at the center of the action, partnering with leading industry players to showcase how our control room solutions enhance grid reliability and drive operational efficiency. All our solutions on display at DistribuTECH are TAA-compliant, providing additional security and streamlined procurement clearance.
Our main presence is the shared booth with Winsted (#1913). Here, visitors can explore two Barco CTRL desks, an essential control room solution for the Transmission and Distribution market. Barco CTRL secures critical energy operations with a cybersecure architecture that facilitates NERC-CIP compliance. Going beyond KVM over IP, this scalable platform unifies video wall and operator desk management, enabling secure content interaction from any location. Furthermore, visitors can discover an RGB Laser ODL‑721 rear‑projection video wall, a Barco UniSee II LCD video wall and an NT1.2‑I BAA LED video wall powered by Infinipix LED processing. It is the ideal place to get a clear, hands‑on overview of what Barco brings to modern control rooms. Our Barco team looks forward to seeing you at the booth to answer any questions that you may have, as well as provide you a hands on demo experience!
Barco solutions will also be on display at the Survalent booth (#5025), featuring a Barco UniSee II video wall and the Barco CTRL KVM solution.
Prepare for the big reveal at ISE
At about the same time, across the Atlantic, the main tradeshow for the AV industry takes place in Barcelona. At ISE, the spotlight shines brightest at the RPG booth (#5N390), where we're unveiling groundbreaking visualization news for the very first time. This exclusive reveal introduces a brand-new product... that we're keeping under wraps until the show. Alongside this mystery launch, witness the spectacular NT0.9-I LED video wall making its European debut in a stunning 6x6 configuration powered by Infinipix, plus two complete Barco CTRL setups demonstrating the future of mission-critical operations.
CTRL demonstrations across the show floor
Throughout ISE 2026, experience live demonstrations of Barco CTRL – our revolutionary all-in-one KVM over IP platform that's transforming how operators manage mission-critical environments. This secure solution delivers seamless content control across operator desks and video walls, combining intuitive simplicity with unlimited scalability for the most demanding operations. Additionally, through our partnership with Extreme Networks, we also offer the 'Connected Control Room' functionality, enabling seamless and secure integration of remote sites (including crisis rooms, homeworkers, oil rigs, etc.). We will present this functionality (and other new Barco CTRL features) together with Extreme Networks at predefined demo slots on the RPG booth. Register here to secure your spot.
Beyond the RPG booth, you can also find CTRL in action at additional partner booths: LundHalsey (#5B300) showcases the platform alongside a 2x2 Barco UniSee II display, while distributor Wesco (#2V280) demonstrates CTRL with KVD-5521D displays. Each setup highlights how CTRL simplifies complex workflows while maintaining the security standards critical infrastructure demands.
Innovation on display everywhere
Our presence spans the entire show. At our main Barco booth (#2K300), discover a 4x4 TP1.2-I configuration powered by the Infinipix IND-100 (the dedicated LED processor designed to extend the 3D stereo capabilities for Dual Eye Point applications in simulation markets), while our Barco Residential booth (#2J500) presents an impressive 6x6 TP0.9-I setup, bringing our LED video wall expertise and quality to luxury home environments. The Avixa Studio (#EA900, Hall 3) features our flagship LED video walls in a 4x4 TP1.2 and 3x3 TP0.9 configuration – both driven by Infinipix – as a studio backdrop, showcasing what's possible in professional visualization.
Strategic LED partnerships take center stage
ISE 2026 marks a pivotal moment for our LED strategy, as we showcase the power of our strategic alliances with industry giants BOE and Unilumin. These partnerships represent the perfect synergy: our 25+ years of European-engineered LED image processing expertise combined with their world-class manufacturing capabilities and cutting-edge display technologies.
At the BOE booth (#2D100), experience a 6x6 BYH 0.9 LED wall powered by Barco Infinipix – a stunning demonstration of how Chip On Board (COB) technology meets precision processing. Meanwhile, the Unilumin booth (#3D300) showcases an impressive 8x8 MIP UPanel II 1.2 configuration also driven by Infinipix, alongside our E2 and Barco CTRL solutions. Their Multi-LED In Package (MIP) technology delivers pixel pitches smaller than 0.9mm, enabling unprecedented resolutions that were previously unattainable.
These alliances go beyond hardware integration: for control room customers, the combination of these advanced LED solutions with our Barco CTRL platform delivers end-to-end security and seamless operation – complete, integrated solutions rather than standalone components. As the LED market consolidates and evolves, these partnerships position Barco at the center of the revolution, transforming us from a technology provider into an integral part of the global LED ecosystem.
Cybersecurity in focus
Security remains paramount in critical infrastructure, and we're addressing this head-on at ISE 2026. On 4 February at 3:40 PM, join us live at the Avixa Studio (#EA900) or follow the broadcast for a panel discussion. Barco's Timo Kosig (Product Security Officer) and Mathieu Dobbeleir (VP Product & Solutions) will explore how the cybersecurity landscape is evolving and how organizations can stay protected. The conversation delves into how Barco CTRL addresses modern security challenges while maintaining operational simplicity – a balance that's becoming increasingly crucial for control room environments.
Additionally, Timo Kosig and Andrew Dowsett (Territory Sales Manager at Barco Control Rooms) will give a keynote speech at the ISE Cyber Security Summit. On 5 February they will explain how Barco Control Rooms empowers cyber resilient operations, showcasing how the Barco CTRL platform places cybersecurity at the core of modern control room visualization. Tickets are needed to attend this event.
With demonstrations spanning eight different booths, an exclusive product launch, and 2 speaking slots, ISE 2026 represents one of Barco Control Rooms' most comprehensive show presence yet. Visit us across the show floor to experience the future of mission-critical visualization.
