Process flow

1. Remove the front and left side covers. For more info, see “Projector covers”.
2. Power off the projector.
3. Install the battery holder on the left side of the projector. For more info, see “Installing the battery holder”.
4. Fixate the laser ranger onto the projector frame. For more info, see “Installing the distance meter assembly”.
5. Update the front cover of the projector with the one in the upgrade kit. For more info, see “Change front cover panel”.
6. Enable the camera kit and distance meter in the Pulse software. For more info, see “Enabling and using the camera and distance meter”.
7. Adjust the distance meter according to the local installation. For more info, see “Adjusting the distance meter”.

8. Apply the yellow laser safety label from the kit just below the black projector ID label on the right projector cover.

   

   Note: Recent UDX projector models may already have this label in place. Compare the existing label with the new label. In case the laser radiation symbol (see hereunder) is present on the existing UDX Laser Safety label, then it is not needed to apply the label from the kit.
