- Security enhancements in firmware version 2.22 have reduced the performance of Digital Signage. As a result, Digital Signage may no longer work or may load very slowly, depending on the content and platform. These models now show reduced capability in running Digital Signage content. For more information, please refer to the KB15221.

- Theater Mode: Grab the attention with your content and nothing else. Get your content in the picture, full size and full screen.
- Time format on the wallpaper can be set to a 12hr or 24hr time format: This will be applied to the clock shown in the status bar and in the room availability section on the wallpaper.
- Performance enhancements when integrating the Buttons into the corporate network: With the feedback received on the 2.8 firmware release, we have been able to identify some areas of improvement and these improvements can be found in this firmware.
- Miracast available in more configurations. Thanks to the addition of Miracast MS-MICE capabilities (aka Miracast Over Infrastructure), Miracast can be used on all CX and C models in additional configurations.
- Media streaming over Airplay: This firmware adds support to stream media content from YouTube and other applications to your ClickShare device.
