What is the maximum volume setting that can be set on the ClickShare Bar and how to set it?

Changing the volume of ClickShare Bar by the connected user using the UC&C volume settings or Windows volume settings can be below expectations. These Windows/MAC volume sliders for the ClickShare speaker and Room speakerphone control the “input volume” into the audio mixer, not the Hardware volume settings of the ClickShare Bar. When adjusted these settings from the laptop, the maximum hardware volume setting is restricted/capped at 62%, even if it is set to 100% from this location. This may result in a low sound from the ClickShare Bar in certain cases.

There are 2 ways to correct the maximal hardware volume setting of the ClickShare Bar to its full 100%.

  • When active audio is playing you can use the hardware buttons on the Bar to change the CB hardware volume level to desired setting.

  • You can access the volume settings from the ClickShare bar by using the ClickShare App connected to the bar. This can be used with or without active audio on the CB and is implemented from ClickShare firmware version 2.19 (or higher) and Windows ClickShare Desktop App running version 04.36 (or higher). For details, see KB 11935.

Note: The volume settings on the ClickShare Bar will revert to 62% after each meeting call concludes or when the ClickShare Bar undergoes a reboot.
