Following might be the reason why your ClickShare disconnects with AirPlay on MacBook every 10-15 seconds
ICMP packets are blocked
In order for AirPlay to work properly, the ClickShare Base Unit needs to be able to send ICMP packets (aka. ping) to the macOS device. Please make sure that ICMP packets are not being blocked.
What could possibly block these packets:
- a third-party firewall
- the native macOS firewall
Stealth mode enabled
When using the native macOS firewall, Stealth-mode needs to be disabled. This can be done by browsing to System Settings > Network > Firewall > Options... then scroll to the bottom and uncheck the Enable stealth mode checkbox.
