Installing wePresent on an internal network

Applicable to

  1. Make sure that your wePresent base unit is connected (wired LAN) to your company network.
  2. Open the admin webpage of your wePresent base unit. See [KB8186].
  3. Click WiFi Setup and disable the Wireless LAN option.
  4. Click Apply and then OK to save the setting and reboot your wePresent base unit.
  5. After the restart, reopen the admin webpage.
  6. Click Network Setup and configure your wePresent base unit network settings using the following options:
    • Obtain an IP address automatically
    • Use the following IP address
    Note

    Disable the DHCP Server Setup if the option "Obtain an IP address automatically" is selected.

  7. Click Apply and then OK to save the setting and reboot your wePresent base unit.
    Note

    The internal users need to connect to the company WiFi and the guest users need to connect to company guest Wifi.
