Barco launches interactive patient care solutions at Hospitalar 2013

The Hospitalar Exhibition in São Paulo, Brazil is the largest and most comprehensive trade show dedicated to healthcare in Latin America with over 1250 Brazilian and international exhibitors and 90,000 visitors. From 21 to 24 May, Barco selected this major event to debut its pioneering healthcare IT solutions, including CareConnex, the world’s most advanced interactive patient care system for the bedside. Barco also showcased its new line of medical-grade review displays and its ANVISA registered surgical displays.
Platform for new technologies
Hospitalar is the only healthcare fair of its kind in Latin America and is seen as a platform for launching the latest technologies. For many visitors, including representatives of hospitals, health clinics and laboratories, it offers an excellent opportunity to discover new products and services and familiarize themselves with their applications and technical details.
Greater healthcare efficiency
At the Barco booth, visitors were introduced to CareConnex, Barco's state-of-the-art interactive patient care solution. Deployed over a range of Smart Terminals and featuring progressive feature-rich software, the CareConnex solution improves clinical and operational workflow, significantly enhances patient experience and satisfaction scores, and generates revenue for healthcare facilities around the world. Also on display were the brand-new Eonis 22” clinical review monitor and Barco’s HD surgical and endoscopy displays. In addition, Barco was proud to announce ANVISA registration for its surgical displays at the show. The result? A host of potential new customers, interested in more efficient ways of providing healthcare and improving patient care.
