3.1 Installation overview
- Define or prepare an optimal location in the meeting room. It is recommended to find a location where there is a clear line of sight for the camera, microphone and speakers pointed in the direction of the attendees. For more info, see “Methods of installing”.
- Assemble the Base Unit, if required, and physically install the Base Unit in the chosen location. For more info, see “Physical installation”.
- Connect the Base Unit with required cables or by setting up the required wireless connections. Depending on the meeting room different connections may be needed. For more information, see “Hardware connections”.
- Update the firmware of the Base Unit to the latest version. For more information, see “Firmware update”.
- Pair the optional Button(s) to the Base Unit. For more information, see “Pairing the Button(s)”.
Log into and initialize the ClickShare configurator. For more information, see “The ClickShare configuration wizard”.
OR
Start a meeting, without setup, by sharing content immediately. For more information, see “Quick use”.
- Register the Base Unit in XMS Cloud and claim 5 year SmartCare warranty. For more information, see “XMS Cloud registration”.
- Modify or utilize the Base Unit advanced features with ClickShare configurator. For more information, see “ClickShare configurator”.
- Start using ClickShare, by connecting a paired button and/or installing the ClickShare app. For more information, refer to the user guide.
