To access the ClickShare Configurator (webUI) of the ClickShare Base Unit, you’ll need its wired IP address. You can find the wired IP address for your ClickShare Base Unit: (1.) on Splash screen of the ClickShare and (2.) in the About menu on the ClickShare app.
Note that both options require the ClickShare device to be powered on and connected to the network via LAN.
1. On Splash screen of the ClickShare
CX-/C-/CB-series:
The network information, including the Wired IP, will be found on the splash screen as long as no one is currently sharing.
By default, the network information is not shown on the splash screen as it is disabled in the ClickShare Configurator. To be able to view this information on the splash screen, you need to change the configuration in XMS or the ClickShare Configurator of the Base Unit, under Personalisation > On-Screen ID > Show network info. This information will then be shown under the instructions window when no one is sharing.
For CX-/C-/CB-series Base Units that do not show this information on the splash screen, we advise using the method finding IP address via ClickShare app described below.
CS(E)-series:
When not turned off in the ClickShare Configurator, the wired IP address of the Base Unit can be found on the splash screen of the Base Unit, either on the bottom when the default wallpaper is used (See item #2 for the wired interface and #3 for the wireless interface in case of wireless Client mode on the CSE-200+) or in the top left corner in case a custom wallpaper has been configured.
Showing or removing this information on the splash screen of the Base Unit can be configured in XMS or the ClickShare Configurator of the Base Unit, under Personalisation > On-Screen ID > Show network info.
2. In the About menu on the ClickShare app
Connect to your Base Unit by either plugging in the ClickShare Button on your laptop or using the ClickShare Desktop App (how to: see KB 2607) and then open the About menu in the ClickShare app to view the Base Unit IP address. For example, the wired IP address of CX-30 as shown in the images below:

Note: Click on the IP address shown in the ClickShare app to quickly and directly open the ClickShare Configurator for the Base Unit on your laptop. Additionally, you will need to dismiss the browser's warning and use your ClickShare login credentials to connect to the Configurator.
