Manuals, drivers and support

Our live event projectors have premium integrated laser cooling to prevent overheating. However, what if you are operating in extreme conditions? Or if the installation is set in a closed, poorly ventilated environment? That’s where our external cooler comes in.

The external liquid-to-liquid coolers reduce the projector heat dissipation with 70%. The liquid from the projector is cooled by cold water supplied from the building’s air conditioning system. Both liquids do not come into contact with each other. The extra cold liquid (7°C-10°C) provides more consistent and stable cooling, independent of the ambient environment, further extending the lifespan of the projector components.

These separate cooling units (complete with cable and tube (8m)) can be placed up to 24m away from the projector itself. You put them in a different room, or even on a different floor, so as not to hinder the on-site set-up and audience. As a result, the fans in the projector don’t need to work as hard to maintain a healthy operating temperature, reducing the noise with up to 6dB as fan speeds drop.

This is especially useful when working with devices in climate boxes or when installing multiple projectors in projection towers, which makes it harder to remove the heat. The cooler, controlled and powered by the projector, ensures that the temperature of the laser banks, and all other components within the light source are optimal which also improves the overall optical performance and laser lifetimes.
