Barco Residential nabs CE Pro “Best” Awards for Medea and Balder projectors

Exciting things are happening at CEDIA this week! Barco Residential just won two awards for its projectors aimed at the home theater and media room markets.
The Balder projector won “Best New Product” and the brand new Medea model was honored as “Best Home Theater/Multi-Room Audio/Video” product.
Balder is forged from the finest components such as aluminum and glass. Balder not only shares the same Ultra HD and HDR 10 compatible electronics as his big brother Loki, the optical design and new single laser engine are also derived from the Loki platform.
Medea enables custom integrators to provide an exceptional experience to more clients, delivering stunning image quality. Thanks to its powerful laser light engine, Medea offers class-leading brightness levels, a high level of detail, highly saturated colors, sharper images and less latency. It provides significantly improved image uniformity, nearly instant on/off, and a light source life of up to 40,000 hours for maximum performance and convenience. An entry-level model, Medea shares the same advanced control system as the award-winning Balder and Loki projectors.
