- Connect the ClickShare Base Unit to the network and the display.
- Use an HDMI or USB-C cable to connect the Base Unit to your meeting room display.
Note: Use USB-C cable with C-/CX-/CB- series devices only. - Connect the Base Unit to your network using an Ethernet cable. This allows for network integration and management.
- Use an HDMI or USB-C cable to connect the Base Unit to your meeting room display.
- Connect the power cable to the Base Unit and turn it on.
- Plug the power adapter into the Base Unit and then into a power outlet.
- Press the power button on the Base Unit to turn it on. Wait for the unit to boot up completely.
- Configure the Base Unit if required by accessing the ClickShare Configurator (how-to: see KB 2324).
- Open a web browser on a computer connected to the same network as the Base Unit.
- Enter the IP address (default is 192.168.2.1) of the Base Unit to access the ClickShare Configurator.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to configure network settings, display preferences, security options and others.
- Pair your Buttons to transfer the configuration and update the Button firmware (how-to: see KB 5924).
- Insert the ClickShare Button into a USB port on the Base Unit.
- Once the LED ring on the Button stops flashing, the pairing process is complete.
- Connect to the ClickShare for sharing content:
Using ClickShare Button (how-to: see KB 2898)- Insert the ClickShare Button into a USB port on your laptop.
- Wait for the Button to be ready: The Button’s LED ring will start flashing white or show white ring filling up. Once it turns static white, it’s ready to share content.
- Click the Button to share your content to the meeting room display.
- Launch the ClickShare Desktop App on your laptop.
Note: Download and install the ClickShare Desktop App, available for both Windows and Mac, you can download it from here. - Connect to the meeting room's ClickShare Base Unit: select the meeting room name from the list or enter the meeting name or its IP address.
- Click the content thumbnail (on "new" user interface) or virtual Button (on "old" user interface) to share your content to the meeting room display.
