Monitor – Diagnose – Control

Barco Insights is based on a subscription model with three levels: Monitor, Diagnose, and Control. The Monitor features are automatically enabled for Barco UDM and UDX series projectors for the first two years of usage. And Barco Insights users can extend or upgrade their subscription at any time to benefit from the additional functionalities each level has to offer.

Monitor

Barco Insights Monitor allows you to get rid of time-consuming and error-prone manual administration thanks to the automatic cloud-based storage of projectors’ usage data and their light source runtimes. Its dashboard gives live information on the operating and environmental conditions of the projectors allowing you to manage and control all your projectors in the most efficient way.

Diagnose

Stop losing precious time with endless back-and-forth communication to diagnose the most straightforward issues. Barco Insights Diagnose allows you to consult the health history of your projector, and upload and review log files in minutes, for easier and more accurate device analysis. So instead of last-minute physical service interventions, you have all the tools for prompt and effective remote diagnosis.

Control

Avoid downtime during opening hours or a live show, and significantly reduce unexpected costs, by solving issues before they turn into failures thanks to e-mail notifications about potential problems, or scheduling maintenance visits proactively before a projector even gets a chance to break down. Barco Insights Control also enables you to integrate projector data into your own tools and processes via a secure API.

Plug and play

Barco Insights is aimed at facilitating remote monitoring and serviceability of projectors. Users can securely access the IoT platform on any device with an internet connection. There’s no complex setup and network configuration, no local host PC, and no software to install to make it all work – it’s completely plug and play.
