Prepare for installation

1. Ensure that you understand all safety topics described in the chapter “Safety”.

2. Check if all installation requirements are fulfilled such as:

   • the environmental conditions of the installation area,
   • the electrical facilities,
   • cooling requirements,
   • the capabilities of the supporting structure (table/ceiling)
   • etc ... for more info see chapter “Installation requirements”.
3. Unpack the projector or pull out the projector from its flight case. See chapter “Unpacking the projector” or see chapter “UDX flight case”.
4. In case of a first install perform an initial inspection of the projector. See chapter “Initial inspection”.

5. Define the installation position of the projector. For detailed info and possibilities see chapters:

   • “Projector orientations”.
   • “Projector positioning”.
   • “Projector shift and tilt range”.
6. Select the lens that will best fit for the application. See chapter “Lens selection”, and “Available lenses”.
