Description
High-brightness projectors can pose an eye injury hazard if they are sufficiently bright and not installed properly. This hazard is present in both lamp- and laser illuminated projectors (LIPs) alike, if they exceed certain limits.
During this e-learning you will learn about relevant safety concepts (e.g. risk groups, restriction zones etc.), installer responsibilities (determining the hazard distance, labelling, checklists etc.) and best practices for proper installation of high brightness projectors.
Such practices ensure a safe environment for viewers and operators of such projectors.
This course is a prerequisite for all Barco University high brightness projector classes such as Cinema projector training and Events or Fixed Installation projector training.
Goal
Participants will understand the risk of high brightness light beams and will be trained on taking proper actions when installing and servicing high brightness projectors (regardless of the light source technology, projector brand and installation type).
Target Audience
Installers, maintenance and service staff working with high brightness projectors in both fixed and non-fixed installations.
