DP2K-18Cx is a flexible solution for medium and large digital cinema auditoriums outfitted with screens up to 18m wide. The turnkey DP2K-18Cx system includes a DCI-certified projector, a 4kW lamp, a cinema-grade lens, a Doremi IMB and ShowVault media server including Screen Management Software (SMS) and storage.

Efficient operation and lowest cost

Operating the DP2K-18Cx is easy and straightforward thanks to its modular design. By maximizing the light output of standard digital cinema lamps, lamp operating costs are significantly lower. Since the DP2K-18Cx is a fully integrated digital cinema package it takes away the need to hook up, configure and calibrate different types of equipment during installation. This efficient operation translates into lower service costs and higher screen uptime.

Future-proof and flexible screen management

The integrated media server is future-proof as it is fully equipped to run both 2K and 4K content; and to support standard as well as high frame rates. The highly flexible media player is compatible with both JPEG2000 and MPEG2 content.
Standard network interfaces enable communication between the media server and Screen Management System (SMS), allowing screens to be centrally managed.

Undiminished image quality

Barco's patented, hermetically sealed optical engine not only prevents dust intrusion to guarantee longer lifetime and perfect image quality; it also enables the use of more cost efficient metal filters.

Fully DCI-certified and 3D-compatible

The DCI-certified DP2K-18Cx is ready to show all content in digital quality in your theater. It is fully compatible with all major 3D systems as well.
