Pro4Media brings Barco’s high-brightness projectors to Polish rental and staging market

Very soon, Polish rental and staging companies will be able to boast a new standard in large-venue projection. Pro4Media, one of Poland’s leading AV experts, has just received its batch of four Barco HDF-W26 FLEX projectors, to complement its existing FLM stack. With this order, Pro4Media becomes one of the first AV suppliers to offer the 26,000 lumens Barco projectors to the eastern European rental and staging market. In the short run, the company will further add four top-of-line Barco HDQ-2K40 and four projectors from the HDX-family to its new-generation high-brightness range.
Pro4Media delivers a broad range of AV technology to transform every event – from small conferences and business events through to large shows - into an amazing viewing experience. Barco projectors have helped the company achieve this objective for a couple of years now. The Pro4Media stack includes a whole range, from 8,000 to 22,000 lumens devices, which has now been supplemented with Barco’s four brand-new 26,000 lumens projectors.
Exceptional brightness
Launched in mid-2012, Barco’s HDF-W26 three-chip DLP projector is part of a series of three projectors that combine exceptional brightness levels with a modular design, a ‘built-for-the-road’ ruggedness and wireless control features. With a light output of 26,000 lumens, the 3D-ready projector displays crisp images with rich colors even in venues with lots of ambient light. On top of that, the HDF-W26 is equipped with high–class ImagePRO processors with Athena scaler that enhance and adapt incoming and outgoing signals. As an optional extra, the HDF-W26 comes with a unique adjustable brightness feature: Barco’s innovative ‘light-on-demand’ technology.
Projection at the next level
“The ‘light-on-demand’ option is one of the most interesting features of the solution,” says Marek Wasilewski at Pro4Media. “It will give our customers full flexibility to tune the light output of the projector to the specific needs of their customer’s event, in a range from 18,000 to 26,000 lumens. On top of that, the HDF-W26 ensures, of course, awesome brightness levels in a compact size. Event organizers will truly appreciate the wireless control feature and the built-in color LCD screen, which provides all the necessary information about the projector, sources, status, temperature, and run-time of the lamp.”
More Barco in the pipe
Very soon Pro4Media’s rental stock will be further enriched with four HDQ-2K40 projectors, Barco’s 40,000 lumens. Considered the world’s brightest projector for the rental and staging industry, the HDQ-2K40 ensures razor-sharp, ultra-bright images, guaranteeing an unequalled event experience on every occasion. In addition, Pro4Media has invested in four projectors from the HDX-family, to be delivered in spring 2013. These eight projectors, too, come with the ‘light-on-demand’ option.
