BARCO - RESULTS OF OPTIONAL DIVIDEND

Kortrijk, Belgium, 8 June 2021, 18.00 hrs - Barco announces today that at closing of the optional dividend on 4 June 2021, a total of 54.89% of dividend rights over the 2020 financial year were contributed towards the issue of 682,817 new ordinary shares for a total amount of EUR 12.83 million.

The new shares will be of the same type as the existing shares and will participate in the results for the full financial year that started on 1 January 2021.

On 9 June 2021 the optional dividend will be effectively settled according to the choice of the shareholders and, subject to completion of the capital increase, the new shares will be admitted to trading on Euronext Brussels.

As of 9 June 2021, Barco's capital will be represented by 92,170,255 ordinary shares. Each of these shares grants one vote at the general meeting. The aforementioned total number of shares will then represent the denominator for notification purposes under the transparency regulations. As Titan Baratto NV and 3D NV, the reference shareholders of Barco, have opted for payment of the optional dividend in shares for 100% of their participations, they will hold respectively 18,282,225 shares or 19.84% and 3,894,788 shares or 4.23% of the share capital.

This capital increase raises Barco's equity by EUR 12.83 million compared to a situation where the dividend would have been paid exclusively in cash.
