Chinese Xiamen Airlines equips brand-new Operation Center with a Barco OVL-video wall

Xiamen Airlines, China’s first publicly owned airline, chose Barco’s OVL video wall and Tranform A controller for the control room of its new Airline Operation Center (AOC). The operation center, said to be the most advanced in Asia, became operational on 15 November last.
Xiamen Airlines is committed to continually improving its performance by building information-based, automated and smart operations. Consequently, it resolutely chose the best available technology when equipping its newly constructed AOC building. Barco installed a large-screen OVL-715 DLP display system coupled with a TransForm A controller. With high performance and reliable features, the system is capable of addressing Xiamen Airlines’ requirements to seamlessly and reliably display all operational and flight monitoring images, 24/7.
Mr. Chen Ying, Vice-President of the Information Department of Xiamen Airlines confirms: “Barco’s video wall helps us further improve our capabilities in flight monitoring and emergency response, thus ensuring that Xiamen Airlines can provide its passengers with highly secure, high-quality services.”
