How the UN Sustainable Development Goals guide Barco's corporate strategy
Barco uses the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a guideline to shape its corporate strategy and ambitions. Defined in 2015, the SDGs consist of 17 global goals with a 2030 deadline. All 193 countries in the UN General Assembly adopted this resolution.
In spite of the global involvement, recent research shows that the world is off track to reach these goals and needs to intensify its efforts. Barco remains committed to doing its share, as we recognize that achieving the SDGs requires support from the global business community.
