Barco has participated in a Series A funding round for PathPresenter, a global vendor-agnostic image management and viewing platform for education, research and clinical workflows in digital pathology.
The commercial partnership aims at enabling and accelerating adoption of digital pathology, leveraging both companies’ ecosystems and channels, and developing joint end-to-end offerings across the various use cases in this rapidly evolving segment.
For Barco, the investment confirms our commitment to the digital pathology segment – acknowledging our intention to create superior end-user value through our visualization solutions and applications.
PathPresenter: image sharing platform for pathology
PathPresenter’s enterprise platform empowers top-tier hospitals, labs, and pharmaceutical companies to create seamless digital pathology workflows. By connecting institutions and pathologists globally, the platform leverages 3rd party AI algorithms and foundational models to enhance patient outcomes and create new profit centers from digital pathology investments.
