Visioneering Week is Barco’s annual global event designed to ignite every employee’s passion for learning and innovation. With inspiring keynotes, Interactive Innovation Labs, and fresh perspectives, it was an energizing experience for all.
1. Innovation is for everyone
Innovation is a collective endeavor. Every employee plays a crucial role in driving it forward. An innovation culture encourages experimentation, allowing everyone the freedom to try, fail, and succeed. This spirit of collaboration fosters significant breakthroughs and inspires creativity across the organization.
2. Learn from the next generation
We can learn more from our children than you would think. Try adopting their open-minded approach and exploring the apps and platforms they engage with—such as Roblox and the metaverse—we can discover new avenues of creativity. These platforms are hotbeds of innovation and are shaping the future talent that will drive our industry forward.
3. Keep learning to keep innovating
Innovation comes from curiosity and teamwork. It’s all about staying open to new ideas, learning from both wins and mistakes, and keeping strong connections with our customers. Focusing on long-term goals and working backward to make them happen. Leaders should lead by example, making learning a regular habit and inspiring others to do the same.

Generative AI is reshaping our world, bringing along both opportunities and new challenges. It’s not just about making predictions; these models can act like they’re reasoning. Understanding what they can and can’t do is crucial as we navigate this evolving landscape, ensuring we’re ready to harness the full potential of AI in our work.
5. Tap into peer learning
Your company is full of experts—so why not learn from them? Whether it's financials for non-financials or finding a mentor, there's so much potential in peer learning. Mentorship creates a safe space for colleagues to explore their paths and grow together. Take advantage of it!
