It strengthens our belief that high-quality healthcare can be instilled successfully also remotely or in a hybrid mode, with the right tools. ´
Global, impactful and sustainable virtual training for real-world healthcare
Nipro is a leading global healthcare company serving the medical device, pharmaceutical, and pharma packaging industries and is committed to positive patient outcomes and improved quality of life. To highlight this commitment, Nipro built the Institute of Medical Practice (iMEP) in Belgium.
To expand its reach globally, the Institute was looking for real-life remote learning technology designed by and for trainers that would have the required impact in healthcare, where precision and accuracy are lifesaving – enter Barco weConnect.
The partnership began in 2020 with the installation of a 46-seat weConnect virtual classroom.
Barco weConnect is a purpose-built solution that enables virtual and hybrid training experiences. Instructors have everyone in the first row and can integrate additional equipment (Go-Pro cameras, microscopes, etc.) for the crystal-clear views mandatory in the healthcare and life sciences fields.
Trainees get an in-depth, visually-accurate experience thanks to multiple content streams and high levels of interaction in the form of polls, quizzes, online and in-class whiteboards and enhanced breakout rooms.
This rewarding partnership has resulted in 185 virtual sessions, 1,500 nurses and doctors trained from more than 50 countries and more than 4 languages.
