Learn how to bridge the gap between simulation and physical testing

A swift time to market of new products is key in every industry – and even more so in automotive. However, it is also absolutely necessary to get every detail right when introducing a new model. To couple thorough testing with faster development times, manufacturers rely on simulation and virtual prototyping. During the VI-grade ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit you will get an exclusive insight into how the major players in the automotive industry use simulation to accelerate development.
Barco is a proud partner of VI-grade, and our dedicated simulation projectors are used in the company’s extensive family of turn-key driving simulators. This includes VI-grade’s COMPACT Simulators, STATIC Simulators and DiM (Driver-in-Motion) DYNAMIC Simulators, like the DiM150, DiM250 and DiM400 DYNAMIC Simulators. These simulators provide automotive engineers with a complete set of innovative, integrated driving simulators for a new generation approach to system-level simulation, allowing companies to bridge the gap between testing and simulation.
Destination virtual sign-off with zero prototypes
The VI-grade Zero prototypes Summit is a 2-day event, taking place on 18-19 May 2022 at the VI-grade SimCenter in Udine (Italy). The conference is also available for online participation. You will get an exclusive insight into how the major players in the automotive industry use VI-grade simulation, driving simulators and hardware-in-the-loop technologies to accelerate the development of new vehicles. Additionally, you will get a hands-on demonstration of the latest ground-breaking Barco simulation projector, the F400-HR, a projector built for dynamic scenes, unprecedented speed and ultra-sharp images at native 4K resolution. The goal is to eventually achieve virtual sign-off with zero prototypes.
Some highlights of the summit will be the exciting contributions from Pirelli Tyre, Automobili Lamborghini, Bridgestone EMIA, General Motors, Hyundai Motor Europe, Volvo Cars, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, UTAC, Applus+ IDIADA, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Multimatic Inc., Ford Deutschland and various universities.
Make sure you don’t miss out of the 2022 edition of the ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit!
