About IP address

Two main methods for IP configuration are possible:

Connection indicator

The Encore3 will automatically test the signal validity and speed of any cable connected to the ‘Control’ port. Results of this test will be shown in the indicator with the following states:

Note: The indicator only signals the quality of the connected cable. Other issues can prevent the Encore3 from connecting to the network. For more information, see “Troubleshooting abnormal Encore3 behavior”.

How to configure
  1. Select the desired unit from the list.
  2. Select the desired mode from the drop down box below IP Mode in the Adjust Settings tab.

    • In case of DHCP, go to step 4.
    • In case of Static, go to next step.

  3. Fill out the required network information. For more information, contact the local IT department.
  4. Click Apply Changes.

    Note: If the new IP settings are incorrect or no longer part of the same network, then Event Master Toolset will no longer be able to detect and modify the unit. Any other IP modifications will need to be done through the web page or the front panel of the unit itself.

    The row of the unit will be updated with the new IP information.
