About wired roomdock

Wired roomdock enables the sharing of content in high resolution and frame rate over a wired connection. Any connected peripherals are controllable through the USB connection.

Wireless sharing is disabled while the Base Unit is in wired roomdock.

How to connect

1. Remove the cable cover at the back of the Base Unit.

   

2. Does the computer support display port alternate mode?

   • If yes, connect a “USB-C” cable from the bottom “USB-C” port of the Base Unit (reference 1) to a “USB-C” port of the computer that supports displayport alternate.
   • If no, connect a “USB-C to HDMI” adapter from the bottom “USB-C” port of the Base Unit (reference 1) to an “HDMI-out” and “USB-C” port of the computer.
