4.1.2 Install standing on a flat surface

About standing installation

To install the Base Unit in its upright position, sufficient space and a flat surface are required. If not enough height is available, removing the wall mount could be an option, only if the full length can be supported by the surface.

How to install

  1. Place the Base Unit on its backside or upside down.

    Note: Do not place the Base Unit on its front, as this might damage the camera!

  2. Tilt the stand backwards.

  3. Unscrew the five Phillips screws that hold the wall mount to the Base Unit.

    Tip: Store the wall mount and its screws in a safe location.
  4. Set the Base Unit on the desired surface in its upright position, ensuring all rubber feet make good contact with the flat surface.
