6.4.2.2 Anti flicker

About anti flicker

It is possible for the exposure time of the camera to coincide with the frequency of the power net. When this happens the image will appear darker or screens will seem to flicker on and off. The ClickShare camera exposure time can be synced to this net frequency, which reduces the amount of flickering.

The local power net can be in one of two frequencies:

Note: Changes to the settings or viewing the preview is only possible if no device is connected to the ClickShare. This helps protect the privacy and security of the possible people or sensitive information nearby the meeting room.
How to change
  1. Click on “Edit settings” button in the upper right corner.

Tip: The “Edit settings” button will be disabled while a device is connected to the ClickShare!
Tip: Ensure the ClickShare desktop app is not running on the computer. A running ClickShare app can trick the system into assuming a user is connected.

A message is displayed on the connected display for 10 seconds, warning that the camera is being used by an admin.

  2. Select the frequency corresponding to the location of the ClickShare in the drop-down box after “Power line frequency”.
