About optical zoom and focus

When a motorized lens is installed in the projector this menu can be used to fine-tune the projected image.

The lens zoom function result in increasing / decreasing size of the picture on the projected surface. The focus function exists to help create clarity in the projected image.

About the zoom and focus motor calibration buttons

On the right of the panel are two calibrate buttons. The color indicates the calibration status:

How to configure optical zoom and focus
  1. Select a focus test pattern. See “Lens test patterns”.
  2. Toggle both the Lens zoom and Focus sliders on.
  3. Use the up arrow key to zoom in and the down arrow key to zoom out, or enter the zoom in the Zoom field and confirm.
  4. Use the left arrow key to decrease focus and the right arrow key to increase focus, or enter the focus in the focus field and confirm.
How calibrate zoom and focus
  1. Toggle both the Lens zoom and Focus sliders on.
  2. Click on Zoom calibration to calibrate the zoom motor on the motorized lens.
  3. Click on Focus calibration to calibrate the focus motor on the motorized lens.
