4.4 Using the XLR connector of the RCU

Note: Connecting a cable with the XLR connector will reset the broadcast address of the RCU to its default value '0'.
Revised RCU

Revised Remote Control Units produced from April 2023 onward will require the projector to run software 2.3.x (or newer) in order to properly use the XLR connector. If not yet updated to the most recent version, update the projector software. For more information, see “Software update”.

How to use the XLR connector

  1. Pull the XLR cover backwards.

  2. Connect a cable with XLR plug into the XLR connector of the RCU.
  3. Connect the other end of the cable with the XLR input of the projector.
