3.3.5 Linking a Base Unit to a meeting room
About linking Base Units to meeting rooms
Base Units can be linked to a meeting room using one of the following methods:
- Onboarding the Base Unit and linking it to a pre-configured meeting room.
- Onboarding the Base Unit and creating a meeting room during the onboarding.
- Adding a free Base Unit to a meeting room in XMS Cloud. For more information, see the following procedure.
Prerequisites
A pre-configured meeting room must be created before a Base Unit can be linked. For more information, see “Creating a meeting room”
How to link in XMS Cloud
Click the desired meeting room with status in the overview.
Tip: For long lists, filtering the overview on status will make it easier to find the meeting room. For more information, see “Filtering meeting rooms”.The actions panel will be opened on the right side.
