E.4 Native color calibration

General

The C1 color mentioned in this guide is only available on certain color wheels and Brilliant color modes. If no color is displayed when using the C1 test pattern embedded in the Pulse SW, the color wheel and/or the Brilliant color mode does not support C1.

As the C1 test pattern is only available through Prospector and the API, Prospector is the best option to calibrate the colors of the projector.

  1. Log on as Power user.

  2. Select your desired settings for BC, SRP by entering the menu Image -> Settings

  3. Select the desired setting for Laser power by entering the menu Settings -> Illumination

  4. Go to Service -> Native RealColor P7

  5. Measure x, y and luminance for White, Red, Green, Blue and C1(if applicable) using a chromameter.

    Note: Use the test patterns in Service -> Native RealColor P7 for these measurements.

    Enable test pattern with the button and select the desired color of the test pattern.

  6. Upload the measured values to the projector.

    Note: Luminance for White is always 1.

    Luminance for Red, Green, Blue and C1(if applicable) is the measured luminance of the individual color divided by the measured luminance of white:

  7. Press the “Apply” button.
